Part Two

An introduction to what is stress and it's causes.

Stress is the result of extreme pressure. Most of us have to deal with pressure and cope by balancing resources against demands. Stress, however, is an unpleasant phenomenon that occurs when people cannot cope. Fortunately by learning to change and adapt, by setting realistic goals and receiving support, the vast majority of people can overcome stress.

Some of the issues tackled in this DVD illustrate ways to recognise stress in yourself and others and provides a range of ideas on how to tackle the problem.
